In collaboration with key industrial players and the Society of Electrical and Electronic Engineers in Israel (SEEEI), Dr. Avi Karsenty, the new chair of the Applied Physics/Electro-Optics Engineering Department at the Jerusalem College of Technology (JCT) – Lev Academic Center, organized an engineering conference, which was held on the JCT campus. Hundreds of participants from across the electro-optics and photonics community, representing academia, industry, and the defense establishment, attended the opening session. The presentations delivered represented most of the domains in electro-optics: Medical optics, optical design, lasers, inspection and testing systems, optical communication, nano optics, space optics, and remote sensing.
